We love fall spices and the sweet and savoriness of pumpkin. We are certainly not above the pumpkin spice latte craze. The thing is, we’ve always wondered what would a pumpkin spiced coffee drink taste like if it were actually made with...REAL PUMPKIN! And real vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice rather than...a syrup.
Here is Kate Daughterty to the rescue with this delicious pumpkin spice oat milk creamer recipe using Willa’s Oat Milk. And we think it’s tastier too! We will take fresh pumpkin and vanilla to the artificial flavors anyday. Fresh, real pumpkin is so much tastier. It’s basically like having a coffee pumpkin pie in a glass, but not quite as sweet, or not sweet at all if you don’t add maple syrup or honey. The best part is you can customize it to your liking.
On top of that, she prefers Willa’s Oat Milk because it uses the entire whole oat to give you all the protein and fiber, and because it has less sugar than the competition and no rapeseed or Canola oil. Simple ways to switch up the recipe
Pumpkin spice is one of our favorite flavors. That said, you can also make this recipe with just vanilla, or vanilla and cinnamon. For sweetness, try adding a tablespoon of maple syrup or honey.
If you want to make this recipe even simpler, Kate recommends freezing this combo into ice cubes. And if you want the coffee hot, then just heat up the ice cubes in the microwave or on the stove quickly.
